Monthly Works in Progress Meeting
On June 7th the Meharry-Vanderbilt Community Engaged Research Core will pilot a new training module created to give community research partners a foundation in the conduct of ethical research in their community settings. This 1-hour training session will cover the history of research ethics, the role of the Institutional Review Board, and principles and rules that guide the ethical conduct of research. Participants are invited to provide feedback on the content and structure of the course, and those who complete the training and post-test will receive certification from the Vanderbilt Institutional Review Board.
